Advent at LifeBridge

Throughout the Bible, God promised The Advent or coming of his son, Jesus. This is one of the most important events in all of human history — the almighty, eternal, creator of the universe becoming human, living among us, and suffering on our behalf in order to give us life. For centuries, Christians around the world have used the four weeks leading up to Christmas to prepare themselves for the celebration of Jesus’ birth. It’s a time when we observe his first coming while we also look forward to his second coming. Each of the four weeks leading up to Advent is focused on hope, peace, joy, and love.

HERO MAKER VISION NIGHT We are hosting a very special Hero Maker Vision Night for everyone who attends LifeBridge. HERO MAKER // NEW SERIES Everyone wants to be a hero, but only a few understand the power in being a hero maker. We believe we can maximize our impact for God’s Kingdom and multiply the Jesus movement by becoming Hero Makers. Sundays at LifeBridge // 9:30AM & 11:15AM

Summer Study Groups

The Torah (June 10th – July 22nd) – “The Torah” refers to the first five books of the Old Testament which tell the foundation story of the Israelites. It recounts their covenant with God and their role in human history. Join us as we bridge the gap and equip one another with the basics of how to read and understand The Bible.

Apologetics (June 10th – July 22nd) – “Apologetics” is a fancy word that simply means, “defending Christian beliefs through systematic argumentation and discourse.” It’s important to know why we believe what we believe, especially in a skeptical world that is searching for answers and truth. Join us as we bridge the gap and eqip one another how to be competent and confident to defend our faith.

Meaning of Marriage (July 29th – Aug 26th) – The primary goal of this study is to bridge the gap for all of us, regardless of our marital status, to see the marriage covenant as a reflection of Jesus’ love, grace, and power in our lives. In these sessions we will explore the profound mystery of the love described by the apostle Paul in his letter to the Ephesian Church. There he shows us that the love of God, given to us in the gospel, is the only inexhaustible source for sacrificial love between spouses – as it is for all human love in general.
All of these groups will take place Sunday mornings at LifeBridge Church. To sign up, click HERE!

Graduation Sunday – May 20

We will be honoring graduates on Sunday, May 20th, during our Sunday morning worship services. If you or your student will be graduating from high school, college, or technical school, we would love to honor you!

Child Dedication – Mother’s Day (May 13)

LifeBridge believes children are a gift from God. Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. The dedication service provides you, the parent(s), with an opportunity to express publicly your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child so your child will develop a desire to love God and love others.
