Burgers & Backpacks // July 25

On Saturday, July 25th from 1pm-3pm we will partner with Vertical church to pass out Burgers & Backpacks to the children of the English Avenue community of Atlanta.

Here is how you can help:

1)  Buy a backpack and fill it. The needs this year are elementary school backpacks and school supplies for all ages. Feel free to bring an elementary backpack filled with supplies or just supplies in general.
2)  Volunteer. There will be opportunities to help serve the lunch, pass out backpacks & books, pray with people, and help fill the gaps where needed. Click here to fill out this form to volunteer.

We will collect backpacks from now until July 12. Please drop them off on Sunday morning. Join us as we bridge the gap for this community!

Things I Wish Jesus Never Said

“Turn the other cheek.” “Don’t judge.” “Don’t worry.” Those are all things that are easier said than done. But guess what? Jesus said them. We’ve asked our teaching the question, “What is something you wish Jesus never said?” You won’t want to miss their answers, as they share from the heart which of Jesus’ teachings they’ve been wrestling with lately.

Join us on Sundays at 9:30 & 11:15.

Discussion Guide: The Performance Deception // May 17

deceptionsquareThe Performance Deception

How to use this Guide: Talking through the message during the week helps you and your group turn what God is saying to you into action steps. Begin with the discussion questions, add any optional scriptures and questions if needed, and then wrap up by deciding on your next steps.

Main Idea: The Performance Deception – I Am What I Do, is the promise that success is what makes us significant. Only when we live by the Father’s words will we finally understand our true value and significance.
