We cannot ignore the evil and injustices plaguing our world. We seek to do what is good and just, helping the oppressed and defending the cause of society’s most vulnerable. This is why we reach out to those in need, strategically provide resources, and work to restore all people (Isaiah 1:17).
Eliminating Poverty:
We cannot ignore the horrific reality that 25,000 adults and children are dying every day from hunger related causes. We don’t just raise awareness of the issue, we actually work to eliminate the problem. With organizations like Rise Against Hunger, Compassion International and local school partnerships we mobilize resources needed in this fight against poverty (see Matthew 25:37-40).
Eliminating Slavery:
The global market for human trafficking is more than $12 Billion a year, with more than 1.2 million child victims. More than 100,000 children are currently being trafficked for sex in the U.S. With organizations like Wellspring Living, Refuge for Women, and Building Hope Communities, we are working to rescue and restore women and children from modern-day slavery and abuse (see Isaiah 1:17).
