Woodland: Elementary Summer Camp

woodland_2014This summer, we’re taking our LifeBridge kids to Woodland Christian Camp!

Woodland offers Summer Camp programs for young people entering grades 1 through 6. All programs are designed to be age specific and include activities that will enhance the experience for each camper. Through our caring staff, we seek to contribute significantly to the mental, physical, spiritual, and social growth of each camper (Luke 2:52). Campers and parents will appreciate Woodland’s rich variety of camp experiences available. We seek to provide maximum safety and 24 hour supervision.

Grades 1-3:

June 1-3 / $95

Grades 3-5:

June 3-6 / $150

Spring Training Luncheon // March 23rd

spring training sqFor all volunteers that serve on the Children’s Team & Host Team we are hosting a Spring Training Luncheon on Sunday, March 23, after the 2nd Service. This training event is muy importante as we prepare for the biggest season of the year (Easter). The Children’s Team will meet in the Elementary Room & the Host Team will meet in the Warehouse. Lunch & childcare will be provided.

Lay Coaches Training // Mar 9th

If you sense God may be leading you to get trained as a Lay Coach, you’re encouraged to attend our Coaches Training on March 9th, from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Elementary Worship Room. Childcare & snacks will be provided.

Let the Bible Interpret the Bible

bible interpOftentimes when reading the Bible we can come up to a verse, phrase or word that we might not fully understand. There’s a simple practice that I follow that has unlocked many passages that used to stump me as a beginner Bible reader. This practice came very handy in my last message when I needed help understanding what Jesus meant when he said, “Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God” (Matthew 5:9).
