Advent at LifeBridge

Throughout the Bible, God promised The Advent or coming of his son, Jesus. This is one of the most important events in all of human history — the almighty, eternal, creator of the universe becoming human, living among us, and suffering on our behalf in order to give us life. For centuries, Christians around the world have used the four weeks leading up to Christmas to prepare themselves for the celebration of Jesus’ birth. It’s a time when we observe his first coming while we also look forward to his second coming. Each of the four weeks leading up to Advent is focused on hope, peace, joy, and love.

HERO MAKER // NEW SERIES

HERO MAKER // NEW SERIES Everyone wants to be a hero, but only a few understand the power in being a hero maker. We believe we can maximize our impact for God’s Kingdom and multiply the Jesus movement by becoming Hero Makers. Sundays at LifeBridge // 9:30AM & 11:15AM

Prepare The Way

Prepare the Way Initiative
Like a family expecting a child, we have to make preparations to embrace and care for the new lives God is sending our way. This requires a new level of responsibility from everyone in the family. You can take a significant step of being used by God for a greater purpose and your life will never be the same. But what exactly does it mean for you to “Prepare the Way”?

Serve // 70 Volunteers

We’re asking you to commit to find a spot here at LifeBridge where you can serve on a Sunday team. If you’re already serving, we’re asking you to consider stepping up into a leadership role. We need 70 more volunteers  within the next 70 days.

Give // 70 Thousand

We’re asking you to prayerfully consider giving above and beyond your regular giving to make more room on Sundays.  We need $70,000 in order to expand our facility and parking within the next 70 days.

Pray // 70 Days

We want to motivate you and challenge you to pray boldly and consistently. Through prayer, we are asking God to prepare our hearts in purity, personal sacrifice, and praise. We need to cry out to God daily to move powerfully among us over the next 70 days.

Important Dates

FEB 26 // COMMITMENT SUNDAY

MARCH 5 // FINANCIAL SEMINAR

APRIL 16 // EASTER SUNDAY

CLICK HERE to Prepare the Way by signing up to serve or give.

Prepare The Way // New Series

After 400 years of silence from the time the last book of the Old Testament was written, God called John the Baptist to “Prepare the way for the Lord” (Mark 1:3). John was getting people ready to meet and experience Jesus. In the same way, God is calling us to Prepare the way for others who have yet to meet and experience Jesus.

We hope you will join us on Sunday’s @ 9:30 & 11:15am, as we “Prepare The Way” for more people to experience Jesus!

NEW SERIES // STARTING OVER

I wish I had loved more. I wish I had been smarter about money. I wish I had thought about God more.

We all have regrets about the past. Many of them come from our attempts to fulfill unmet longings. We call this back and forth between longing and regret the Sorry Cycle and we want to help you escape it. In Starting Over, we will look at how to recognize specific regrets and then release them to God as we learn to see our regrets as opportunities to start over.

New series this January 2017 at Lifebridge Church, 9:30 & 11:15am.

NEW SERIES / / The Gospel According To Mary

The Gospel According to Mary
Christmas can be cherished in vastly different ways depending on your perspective of the holiday. It’s uniquely the only Christian holy day that is also a major secular holiday. For Christ followers, it means illumination, reconciliation, and peace with God by grace. It means God taking on human nature and all the great things He gives us in Christ.

So how do we respond to what God gives? How do we receive it? As we look at the Christmas story from Mary’s perspective, we learn what responsive Christian faith looks like in light of the incarnation. This is the Gospel according to Mary.

Join us this December as we look at The Gospel According to Mary!

DRAW NEAR // NEW SERIES

img_3395
Draw Near

God has always wanted His children to draw near to Him with all their hearts. Drawing near is a major theme of redemption history. God created us to walk with Him in fellowship and experience the joy and fullness of life.

Drawing near is the decision to come back into the life of God. It is a restoration of what we were designed to enjoy forever. Even now, despite the darkness all around us, God is never far away. And the experience of God’s nearness is not out of reach. He is present right here and now, ready to revive us again. Our responsibility is to “draw near to Him and He will draw near to us” (James 4:8a).

Join us this month for this life-changing series at LifeBridge, 9:30 & 11:15 am.

Pursuit // New Series

img_3200
At LifeBridge Church we want to be the church seven days a week, not just one hour on Sunday. In this series we’ll answer those important questions by turning our attention toward the life of Jesus and examining his pursuit of sinful, broken people—people like us.

We’ll learn how to truly be human like Him and get a glimpse into the life that He desires to live through us. Don’t miss this important series on Sundays, 9:30 & 11:15am.
