Refine Us Marriage Event

Refine Us Marriage Event | March 1-2 at West Ridge Church in Dallas, GA
Justin & Trisha Davis are the founders of Refine Us Ministries, which is igniting a movement in the church to build healthy marriages and families. They know all too well the dangers of settling for an ordinary marriage. Their own failure to recognize the warning signs almost resulted in the end of their marriage, their family and their ministry.
In their book, released in January 2013, “Beyond Ordinary: When a Good Marriage Just Isn’t Good Enough” with disarming transparency, they’ve given people a glimpse into the slow fade that eventually led to the near destruction of everything they held dear. Refine Us Marriage Conference will be all about Renewing Relationships and Restoring Hope. Justin and Trisha will dive into their story and give couples very tangible ways to obtain the extraordinary marriage that they hoped for from the very beginning.

Advent at LifeBridge

Throughout the Bible, God promised The Advent or coming of his son, Jesus. This is one of the most important events in all of human history — the almighty, eternal, creator of the universe becoming human, living among us, and suffering on our behalf in order to give us life. For centuries, Christians around the world have used the four weeks leading up to Christmas to prepare themselves for the celebration of Jesus’ birth. It’s a time when we observe his first coming while we also look forward to his second coming. Each of the four weeks leading up to Advent is focused on hope, peace, joy, and love.

HERO MAKER VISION NIGHT We are hosting a very special Hero Maker Vision Night for everyone who attends LifeBridge. Summer Study Groups

The Torah (June 10th – July 22nd) – “The Torah” refers to the first five books of the Old Testament which tell the foundation story of the Israelites. It recounts their covenant with God and their role in human history. Join us as we bridge the gap and equip one another with the basics of how to read and understand The Bible.

Apologetics (June 10th – July 22nd) – “Apologetics” is a fancy word that simply means, “defending Christian beliefs through systematic argumentation and discourse.” It’s important to know why we believe what we believe, especially in a skeptical world that is searching for answers and truth. Join us as we bridge the gap and eqip one another how to be competent and confident to defend our faith.

Meaning of Marriage (July 29th – Aug 26th) – The primary goal of this study is to bridge the gap for all of us, regardless of our marital status, to see the marriage covenant as a reflection of Jesus’ love, grace, and power in our lives. In these sessions we will explore the profound mystery of the love described by the apostle Paul in his letter to the Ephesian Church. There he shows us that the love of God, given to us in the gospel, is the only inexhaustible source for sacrificial love between spouses – as it is for all human love in general.
All of these groups will take place Sunday mornings at LifeBridge Church. To sign up, click HERE!

New Building Hope Community

City of Acworth Approves New Building Hope Community

Last Thursday, the City of Acworth approved LifeBridge Church to launch a new, tiny house village in partnership with Building Hope Communities and Wellspring Living. The tiny house village will be built at an undisclosed location in Cobb County to provide affordable housing for sex trafficking survivors.

Wellspring Living works to transform lives of those at risk or victimized by sexual exploitation. They offer residential programs for girls (ages 12-17) and women (ages 18-32), along with a Women’s Academy to equip women in Atlanta for success.

Building Hope Communities will facilitate construction of the village, made up of nine “tiny houses”. The one and two-bedroom houses will provide a stable and safe place for Wellspring Living graduates and their children to reside for a period of up to three years.

This new campus is the first village constructed by Building Hope Communities. Their mission is to transform the lives of those in need by providing safe and restorative housing.
